Oct 2024, DARS 2024: One Keynote, One Award, Two Papers, and a Demo! The SSR group had a terrific time at the Distributed Autonomous Robots conference (DARs) held at Cornell Tech. Congrats to Sneha, Di, and Hungtang for their papers on Self-organized Strategic Sacrifice (Finalist for Best Paper Award) and Leader-Follower 3D formations underwater and to Merihan and Jad their Swarm Garden Demo. Radhika gave a the first keynote, talking about the influence of pioneers Maya Mataric and James McLurkin, and the BLUEniverse project. It was also special to see the many SSR Lab alumni faculty - Kirstin Petersen, Mike Rubenstein,  Sabine Hauert, Michael Otte - who organized this year conference.
